Thank you for your interest in serving as a mediator for the Alameda County Superior Court's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program.

Panel mediators must have completed 40 hours of mediation training and have documented completion of at least five mediated cases (see the Panel Mediator Qualifications for details). If you have been a mediator for this court, you must re-apply if you wish to serve in the program.

Panel mediators agree to donate all preparation and administrative time, and two hours of mediation session time for each court mediation referral. Please read the Mediation Panel Application Information for details.

Applications will be reviewed by the ADR Program Administrator and approved by the ADR Administration Committee.

Unless you specify otherwise, selected portions of your application will be provided to litigants and posted on the court's website.

If you begin but do not complete your application, you can save your work and return later to complete the application.

Please direct any questions or concerns to the ADR Program via e-mail at adrprogram@alameda.courts.ca.gov or via telephone at (510)891-6055.
